Intterra and Genasys Establish Strategic Partnership for Authoritative Evacuation Information in AwareCA™
AUSTIN, TX – March 25, 2026 – Intterra, public safety’s connected ecosystem and the developer of AwareCA™, announced today a strategic partnership with Genasys Inc. (NASDAQ: GNSS), to deliver a full two-way integration between the Intterra Aware platform and Genasys Protect.
Intterra-developed AwareCA is California’s new statewide public safety information platform to deliver fast, trusted, first responder-verified updates to every person living in or visiting the state. The AwareCA mobile app is scheduled to be available for download this spring from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
The integration of the Intterra Aware platform and Genasys Protect will enable agencies participating in AwareCA to initiate evacuation communications directly within Intterra’s Aware Intel Hub and Aware Ops, instantly delivering authoritative information to the public through AwareCA. Agencies using Genasys Protect will be able to input evacuation alerts, warnings, and orders directly into AwareCA, ensuring faster, broader, and more trusted life-safety notifications.
